Are you passionate about supporting youth programs through effective financial administration? Do you have experience in accounts management and CCS submissions? PCYC NSW is looking for a dedicated and detailoriented Finance Administrator for a 6-month contract role, working 22.8 hours per week (3 days), to join our team and contribute to the success of our OOSH program.

About the role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this part-time, 6-month contract role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth financial operations of PCYC NSW's Out of School Hours (OOSH) Program. You will manage CCS submissions, accounts, debt control, and respond to financial queries, allowing OOSH coordinators to focus on delivering quality programs.

You will: 

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of CCS claims and monitor their status. 
  • Maintain and update financial records, including processing payments and managing invoicing. 
  • Provide clear and accurate information regarding billing, payments, and CCS subsidies. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for OOSH coordinator regarding financial queries. 
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and contribute to the development of administrative procedures.

Established in 1937, PCYC NSW is a life changing charity collaborating in partnership with communities and NSW Police to empower youth, get kids active in life and reduce and prevent youth crime. We have sixty-six clubs and eighteen OOSH services across NSW, with a vision for significant growth.

Our aim is to engage with and positively influence over 70,000 youth members through mainstream sport, recreation, education, leadership, and cultural programs. We also work with at-risk youth to break the cycle of disadvantage through crime prevention, vocational education, youth capacity building and social responsibility programs to enhance the life direction and outcomes of over 7,500 youth per year.

About You

You are an experienced finance administrator with strong skills in accounts management, debt control, and CCS management. You have excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Your attention to detail and a proactive approach will be key to your success in this role.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in accounts management or financial administration. 
  • Experience with Child Care Subsidy (CCS) management. 
  • Understanding of debt control processes and procedures. 
  • Proficiency in accounting software and the MS Office Suite. 
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
