Pedal Power ACT

About Us

Celebrating its 50th year in 2025, Pedal Power is the leading cycling organisation in the ACT. As a not-for-profit, membership-based organisation with around 5,500 members, we represent the interests of Canberra's bike riders working to ensure all have an enjoyable, cost effective, healthy and convenient experience riding bikes.

Our mission is achieved through programs and events that promote cycling, advocacy for improved cycling infrastructure, and delivering valued services to our members. We offer a range of services, including 24/7 cycling insurance, social rides, and bike skills courses—such as the Big Skills for Small Bikes program for young children and their parents. Additionally, our innovative Bike Library and community cycling events support our goal of making Canberra a more bike-friendly city. The team of dedicated staff and volunteers is committed to promoting the health and wellbeing of our community through cycling.
