What You Will Be Doing

The Group Operations Assistant provides high-level professional and confidential administrative support to the Director, Corporate Communications & Philanthropy and relevant Heads. This includes high level diary management, assistance with administrative systems for finance and human resources, budgeting and processing of invoices, and records management.

The role is the first point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders to CCP and regularly liaises with the Office of the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Directors, Department Heads, donors, supporters and volunteers. The Group Operations Assistant is also responsible for assisting with co-coordinating events including the AGM, donor events, ministerial events and launch events.

What You Need 

We anticipate you will have:

  • Experience providing high level administrative support to a Director
  • Advanced computer and keyboard skills and confidence using alternative software and web based programs and tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex and dynamic environment in a calm and measured manner.
  • Demonstrated capacity to collaborate and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management
  • Demonstrated event and meeting coordination skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Experience working within a healthcare or health-focused organisation (Desirable)

*Please refer to salary circular for HEALTH AND ALLIED SERVICES, MANAGERS AND ADMINISTRATIVE WORKERS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021-2025 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
