What You Will Be Doing

The Occupational Therapist assists eligible clients (HACC/CHSP) by providing comprehensive home assessment; specialist recommendations regarding assistive equipment and home modifications; holistic client/carer support and education; episodic care co-ordination and referral.

You will be working with clients from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds in a variety of settings including the home, supported accommodation, and the community. Interpreter services are readily available to promote client-centred practice. These positions are based at our Mornington Peninsula Community Health sites.

What You Need

  • A Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current APHRA registration.
  • Demonstrated current specialist knowledge and skills in the provision of evidence based occupational therapy services in a community setting.
  • Skills in home assessment and intervention, including complex equipment and home modification prescription.
