What You Will Be Doing

Our grade one occupational therapists are an essential and valued part of our occupational therapy and multidisciplinary teams across Peninsula Health. You will have the opportunity to learn a range of clinical, communication and teamwork skills to support you in your future career. In each rotation you will have your own caseload that is tailored to your skills and experience level as you progress in your development and confidence.

Clinical areas that you may experience are neurology, orthopaedics, cardio-respiratory oncology and acute mental health. Grade ones are able to participate in quality activities, have contact with students and network with a range of clinicians through our quality teams.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

  • Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board (via AHPRA)
  • A keen interest and motivation to increase your occupational therapy skills in public health in physical and/or mental health settings.
  • The ability to be an effective team member within the occupational therapy and multidisciplinary team settings.
