Join our team as a Childcare Assistant and play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment for children.

We're offering exciting positions in various formats: permanent full-time, permanent part-time and temporary part-time roles. You'll be part of our not-for-profit Child Care Services, known for exceeding or meeting national quality education standards.

As a Childcare Assistant (Certificate III), you'll have the chance to join one or multiple Childcare Services in a stand-alone or rotational position that meets or exceeds national quality education standards.

Roles available encompass Long Day Care, Pre-School, Vacation Care and Before and After School Care settings.

Temporary Part-time positions are available in the following locations:

• Cambridge Gardens
• Werrington
• South Penrith
• St Marys
• Glenmore Park
• Emu Plains

Permanent Part-time (P/T) and Full-time (F/T) positions are available in the following locations:

• Cambridge Gardens P/T and F/T
• St Clair F/T
• Glenmore Park F/T

Your day will involve

• Supporting our dedicated educational leaders in coordinating activities and programs to create a stimulating learning environment for our developing children.
• Assist in implementing programming tailored to children aged 0 to 12 years.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families and the broader community.
• Maintain records and documents related to children’s attendance, behaviour, and developmental milestones.

What are we looking for

• Experience and passion for working with children, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
• Working with children check (WWC).
• Current First Aid Certificate with Asthma and Anaphylaxis and CPR (HLTAID004 / HLTA012).
• Ability to follow safeguarding priorities.
• Team player, contributing and upholding organisational values.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks to get things done efficiently.
