About the company

Care For You at Home has been supporting the community of Port Stephens and beyond with high-quality care services in the areas of Community Nursing, Disability, Veterans and Home Care since 1991. Their team offers a range of personalised services to meet every individual’s needs – from domestic assistance to home maintenance and registered nursing such as continence care or wound dressing management.

In early 2022 Care For You at Home was acquired by MS Plus who is the go-to provider of information, advice, and support for people affected by multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions.

About the opportunity

The Senior Manager will have sustainability, growth, performance, and safe delivery of care at the forefront of their decision-making. They are accountable for overseeing effective day-to-day operations and will work collaboratively with the Business Support Manager, Clinical Lead and wider team to deliver client-focused quality care whilst achieving KPIs and financial outcomes for Care For You at Home Programs. This is a crucial role that will lead the growth of Care for You at Home’s services by identifying and acting on relevant business development opportunities.

Key duties will include:

• Leadership, coaching, and development of the multidisciplinary team including timely recruitment and business planning
• Identifying and acting on business opportunities in the sector with a focus on building meaningful and beneficial relationships
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and relevant legislation in aged care, disability, and veterans home care
• Financial management including accurate budgeting and forecasting, to deliver on services whilst not compromising on quality of care
• Track and report on business performance, identify gaps in the business and provide solutions for more efficient and profitable operations.
• Oversight of all care and support services including services brokered to other providers
• Overseeing and ensuring effective roster management, administration, and information management processes

About you

The successful candidate will have leadership experience in a similar role, ideally within Home care, disability, aged care, or allied health sectors. Strategic business development is a key focus of the role and ideally you will have proven experience in growing a similar type of organisation and consider business development and relationship building as one of your strengths.

We are looking for an engaging leader who is an effective communicator with a growth mindset and strong business acumen.

In addition, we are ideally looking for:

• A thorough understanding of the Aged Care and NDIS market in the Hunter region, and advantageous if particularly familiar with the Port Stephens LGA
• Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards & Aged Care Legislation & related principals, especially as they relate to the reforms beginning July 2025
• An understanding of the application of the Aged Care Standards to home-based care delivery
