We are excited to announce that we are hiring for a new Part Time position 22.5 hours per week at Playgroup Victoria Inc. – Great Start Program Officer. This is a fixed term position ending June 30th, 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to the support of new community playgroups and be a part of our growing team.

Playgroup Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation that supports children and families to flourish through increased access to community and participation in playgroups.

Project Accountabilities

  • Support the design, implementation of the program including the selection and mentoring.
  • Coordinate application and assessment process
  • Liaise and communicate with successful applicants
  • Coordinate grant funds for playgroup and financial management of spending allocated funds
  • Create and coordinate networking opportunities for successful playgroups. Potentially including social media
  • Engage with recipients to determine their needs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate workshops (online and/or in person) to support participating playgroups
  • Communicate with a range of key stakeholders including professional and community members
  • Coordinate visits to successful applicants
