  • Platinum Healthcare is seeking a Scheduler & Administration Assistant (Full time/Part time) to join our friendly team.

Platinum Healthcare, an established Western Australia business, is on the lookout for a dynamic Scheduler & Administration Assistant to join our warm and welcoming team. We take pride in delivering premium aged and disability home care services in Perth, offering in-home aged care, disability care, respite, and palliative care services to a diverse clientele.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Scheduler & Administration Officer to join our bookings team dealing directly with our diverse clientele and support workers. The successful candidate will be responsible for building positive relationships, managing telephone inquiries with a warm and knowledgeable touch, and ensuring seamless coordination of client and support worker activities. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone ready to take on challenges in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule shifts in line with organisational policies
  • Develop positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Handle incoming phone inquiries with a warm and knowledgeable approach
  • Monitor and log client and support worker activity, addressing issues promptly
  • Review schedules and validate hours worked
  • Arrange replacement staff to cover planned or unplanned absences and shift changes
  • Manage general administration tasks, including scheduling new client services and handling email communication
  • Utilise internal scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite

Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to support clients, their families, employees and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a team environment but also autonomously as required
  • You will need to be reliable and have a positive can do attitude
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and perform under pressure
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Friendly, flexible and adaptable even when under pressure
  • Proficiency in the operation of customer databases and Microsoft Office suit
  • NDIS Screen Check and Covid-19 Vaccination evidence
  • Previous administration experience in a disability or aged care office environment would be an advantage
  • Prior experience in scheduling or rostering is desirable but not essential
