PHM Health is a registered provider for the NDIS who aim to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities by assisting them to achieve their life choices, either in their own home or in the community. We have been providing high quality services and support to people with disabilities across the Sydney Metro area since late 2017.

Due to expansion we are currently seeking an Accounts Officer to oversee the NDIS portal.

The Role:

The Accounts Officer role reports directly to the Finance Officer and is responsible for the management of the NDIS Portal, including:

  • Creating and maintaining participant service bookings on the NDIS portal in line with service agreements;
  • Bulk uploads of NDIS data from the system, cross checking for payment and ensuring no rejections, partial payments, etc;
  • Ensuring accurate invoicing and remittance via the NDIS portal;
  • Reconciling payments received from NDIS, ensuring that any inconsistencies or errors are followed up in a timely manner.
  • Managing and investigating queries/issues relating to the NDIS portal in a timely manner;

The role will also include some administrative duties.

About you:

You have an excellent work ethic, like a challenge, show initiative, enjoy working independently and as part of a team and think on your feet.

You have fantastic time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise your workload.

You have ideally worked in a similar role and are therefore comfortable navigating the NDIS portal.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current NSW Working With Children Check;
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence;
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module;
  • Completion of the NDIS COVID-19 Training Module;
  • As a condition of your employment with PHM Health, a criminal record check will be undertaken by PHM Health and reviewed every three years;
  • Experience with the NDIS portal; and
  • Knowledge and understanding of NDIS claiming system is highly desirable.

MUST BE AVAILABLE:

Days: Monday to Friday

Times: Must be available for any 5hrs a day between 8am to 4pm

Pay is based on the SCHADS Award

(Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Services Industry Award)

Part-time hours: 25-30 per week

Expected Start Date: 13/10/2021

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
