THE ROLES
We are currently inviting expressions of interest from experienced trainers to join our progressive and innovative community based Not for Profit RTO. Pines Learning Employment & Pathways areas provide students with the opportunity to complete their training in a supportive and flexible learning environment for work and to prepare for further study.
The roles include development of teaching and learning resources to update current delivery and for new delivery of courses in face-to-face, blended and online learning environments. Applicants must hold a current National Police Check and current Working with Children Check upon commencement.
The casual position hours (day, evening & weekend) to be discussed upon application. The positions are classified under the NHACE Collective Agreement 2016 as a Casual Tutor Level 2.
LOCATION
Courses are delivered at our Doncaster East site or at MC2 in Doncaster Hill.
External partnerships may require delivery at various locations across Melbourne.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver pre-accredited training ensuring all elements of the course criteria are taught in accordance with the relevant Pre-accredited Quality Framework (PQF+).
- Deliver training under partnership agreements to meet organisational needs and training objectives.
- Assist Pines Learning with continuous improvement of resources and activities for learning delivery.
- Participate in internal or external professional development opportunities to keep up to date with and apply new teaching and learning approaches.
- Encourage and actively support student participation.
- Maintain a productive, collaborative team environment and positive representation and promotion of Pines Learning.
Key Selection Criteria
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated competency in face-to-face & blended, OR online delivery methods.
- Demonstrated current experience in training, in one or more of the following areas:
- Business Administration, Digital Skills, AI for Business Efficiency & Communications
- Resilience skills for the Workplace, (wellbeing, mental health, communication, and goal setting)
- Supporting All Abilities students in skills for Life & Work
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering relevant course and content materials in the areas of experience outlined for the roles.
- Ability to facilitate an inclusive classroom environment, in face to face & blended delivery. Through Learning Management Systems (LMS) e.g. Moodle, Canvas & online communications platforms (e.g. Teams, Zoom).
