Movember is a leading global charity committed to changing the face of men’s health. Our work focuses on improving outcomes in mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. Across all of our initiatives, Movember is driven by a bold vision to create meaningful and lasting change for men, boys, and their communities.
Our Indigenous Programs Portfolio is grounded in Indigenous knowledge systems, data sovereignty, and community-led development. We work across Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, and Turtle Island (Canada and the USA) to support culturally embedded approaches to social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB) that prioritise prevention, healing, and community strength.
Reporting to the Global Director, Indigenous Programs, the Portfolio Manager – Indigenous Programs plays a central role in coordinating implementation of the Indigenous strategy across global and regional markets. The role is responsible for supporting program management, planning, reporting and process optimisation across the Indigenous portfolio, in line with Movember’s One Movember Strategy and Board-approved Implementation Plans.
This position sits within the Movember Institute, which leads evidence-building, knowledge translation, and system-level change for men's health. The Portfolio Manager supports delivery of programs through development of implementation tools, risk and financial oversight, strategic reporting, and strengthening relationships with internal teams and external partners.
This is a fast-paced and cross-functional leadership role requiring strong project management skills, systems thinking, and the ability to coordinate across global teams while centring Indigenous ways of working and being.
You are an Indigenous leader with strong experience in program management, operations, and cross-sector collaboration. You are outcomes-driven, culturally grounded, and capable of navigating diverse stakeholder relationships with professionalism and care. Your knowledge of Indigenous health, community engagement, and evaluation principles is matched by your ability to manage systems, processes, and reporting across multiple teams and regions.
You bring strategic insight and practical execution, ensuring that operational systems reflect Indigenous priorities while aligning with organisational frameworks. You are confident in using tools like Asana, Salesforce, and other project platforms, and you thrive in collaborative environments where community impact is the driving force.
