About the opportunity
Primary Health Tasmania has an exciting new opportunity in our Health Services Commissioning business unit to join the team as a Consultant – Service Design. Playing a key role in designing new solutions to health needs, as well as transforming existing services commissioned in the primary health care sector, you will work across all Primary Health Tasmania’s portfolios, including Aboriginal health, aged care, after hours care, mental health, rural primary health and suicide prevention.
What you would be doing
Collaborating with colleagues at Primary Health Tasmania, your team and the Manager – Service Design you will contribute to high quality health service commissioning outcomes by demonstrating your ability to:
- Conduct research, evidence review, collect and analyse data to make informed recommendations on needs and prioritisations
- Identify, compare and analyse potential service models and explore potential for innovative solutions
- Engage with providers in the market by conducting sector briefings and market sounding consultations.
- Design programs, including developing program logics, outcomes and indicators
- Foster service market engagement, including soundings and sector briefings
- Develop program specifications to ensure requirements are clear and transparent
- Develop procurement documentation, including selection criteria and evaluation plans
