About the opportunity

We’re looking for an energetic and articulate Health Program Coordinator (Primary Health Consultant) to join our Evidence in Practice team. In this role, you’ll provide support to primary health care professionals by developing and delivering clinical education tools and resources, including the Tasmanian HealthPathways. Your responsibilities will involve facilitating end-to-end clinical education and the development of resources to enhance best practice health care delivery throughout Tasmania – working across program areas such as alcohol and other drugs, mental health, aged care, palliative care, and chronic conditions

What you would be doing

Reporting to the Manager – Evidence in Practice, your work will include:

  • Supporting the events management process.
  • Project delivery.
  • Working with a team of clinicians to develop and deliver the Tasmanian HealthPathways.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver clinical education aligned with Primary Health Tasmania’s strategies.

Here’s what you’ll look like

  • Experience in events management, primary care or clinical education would be highly regarded.
  • You may have a background in project management, public health or a clinical field.
  • Essential to your success will be your high-level communication skills – written, verbal and presenting – as you will be required to engage with a variety of stakeholders including clinicians, specialists, Tasmanian Department of Health and internally across the organisation.
