Do you need a place to live? Are you looking to reduce your living costs? Do you have a mature and accepting outlook?
Here's an opportunity to contribute to the life of another person and at the same time reduce your living costs. We are seeking someone to share a house with a person who just needs a bit of extra help to live in their own home. The help comes in the form of your presence in the home on most nights of the week, which provides a low level of safety and security. In exchange you will be charged very little rent.
You can still go about your life, whether it is study or employment or leisure, but the knowledge that you will be present most evenings and at night is the key factor.
You don’t need to have previous experience supporting someone with a disability but you do need to be genuine in your desire to enrich someone else’s life, as well as your own. This position does not involve active support work, as the person is well supported by their family, friends and paid staff.
This person is outgoing, in his early-thirties, goes to work, volunteers and loves music. For you, this is an opportunity to build a friendship and to connect with the local community, with a view to a long-term tenure.
This is a rewarding opportunity for the right person.
