Project Home Unity is a grassroots community organisation aimed at providing support tailored to LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals. Our current work involves comprehensive home-based support for individuals with different physical, mental health, and social needs, including in-home care, support coordination, and assistance in forging connections within the community. The goal of social support is to empower the client(s) to live independently, achieve their personal goals, integrate into their community, and cultivate a supportive network within their community.
We’re looking for dedicated, passionate support workers with knowledge and experience of the social issues facing LGBTQIA+ community members to join our supportive, close-knit team!
This position is responsible for delivering tailored support to LGBTQIA+ individuals with complex needs to live life independently, achieve their personal goals, attend appointments and social groups, and cultivate a supportive network within their community.
