Penrith Women’s Health Centre (PWHC) is looking to recruit qualified and experienced Intake Officer to join our team working from our offices at 63 Union Road Penrith. Our team is focused on providing services that support vulnerable and/or disadvantaged women including those who are experiencing domestic and family violence. We are committed to using trauma informed, client led approach.

The Intake Officer is a vital part of our support services for women and is often the first person to meet & greet women accessing PWHC.

The Intake Officer works closely with our whole team including Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Case Workers, Counsellors, Clinicians and Allied Health staff. Our team provides range of safety and empowerment services and supports including with a focus on building security, resilience, and support in healing. We are committed to providing support services that are culturally appropriate, and evidence informed. Our work is guided by the various national, state and local plans to improve the safety, health and wellbeing of women and their children.

ABOUT WORKING WITH PENRITH WOMEN’S HEALTH CENTRE

PWHC has recently relocated to new premises in Union Road Penrith. The site has easy access to all-day public parking and public transport. Our tight knit team work together to ensure that women seeking our aid are supported. PWHC provides all team members with fully funded independent external clinical supervision, free 24/7 confidential Employee Assistance Program, as well as an annual subscription to the Calm App, and professional development opportunities.
