We have a fantastic opportunity for an Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) Manager to join our management team. Reporting to the Director of Finance and ICT, this role will support the strategic development and operation of ICT business services across QEC. This is an exciting opportunity to shape QEC’s ICT service into the future.

about the role

The ICT Manager has overall responsibility for the delivery of the organisation’s ICT strategy, which includes the hands on day-to-day management of business applications and the reliable and continued operation of QEC ICT infrastructure and technical services. The role will have responsibility for the development of QEC application architectures, including infrastructure planning and technical standards, to ensure QEC remains well placed to meet business needs for applications and the use of information.

As the Manager of ICT, you will drive a culture of service excellence in the delivery of ICT services and promote the continuing development of technical capability and cost effective solutions to support QEC both now and into the future.

To be considered for this role, candidates will need a strong background in ICT infrastructure management and service contract management skills. A solid understanding of the key business applications used for finance, HR, OH&S and web presence is also required, along with a strong understanding of information management and security. The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification at degree level or higher, demonstrated experience as an ICT Manager with a sound understanding of information management, data management and security.
