The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced People and Culture Business Partner to join our passionate and friendly People, Culture & Safety team.

This is a true generalist role where you will see yourself working across a variety of People & Culture initiatives including Enterprise Agreement interpretation, employee relations, performance development, employee engagement, payroll support, talent attraction, recruitment, on boarding and more.

This permanent role can will be considered on a full time or part time (0.8 - 1.0 FTE) basis. Predominantly working from our newly rebuilt site in Noble Park, occasional travel to our other Victorian sites will be required. One day per week working from home is available.

In addition to the salary offered, you can also increase your take home pay through use of public health sector salary packaging and avail of our generous leave entitlements.

About you

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations or similar 
  • Demonstrated experience in a People and Culture generalist role
  • Experience in the health sector or with public sector Enterprise Agreements (EAs) will be highly regarded
  • Experience coaching leaders, interpreting EAs and managing performance and conduct issues
  • Moderate understanding payroll concepts with proven ability in analysing and investigating payroll and entitlement issues
  • Positive team member who loves to get involved
  • Strong organisational, investigation and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to take action and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Warm, engaging communication style
