This role will have responsibility for leading core components of the projects carried out by the team, and for delivering results within structured timeframes.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Providing authoritative, reasoned policy advice on specialised topics within discrimination and human rights issues, including in relation to diversity and inclusion in workplaces and service provision.
- Conduct comprehensive and sophisticated research and analysis to synthesise information from multiple sources including legislation, policy and practices, inquiries and reviews, academic research, expert interviews, stakeholder consultations and data sources.
- Sensitivity and strategically gather information relevant to the task, including through leading the conduct of expert interviews and stakeholder consultations on specialist topics and identifying and requesting relevant information.
- Proactively build and maintain respectful, productive, and strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee, prepare, and draft complex documents including briefs, memorandum, issues papers, and co-authoring major public facing reports.
- Supervise other team members as required.
