In this role you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of the court based program Court Link, based in Mount Isa. Court Link is an integrated court assessment, referral and support program. Court Link assists participants by connecting them with treatment and support services to address housing, employment, drug and alcohol, health and other social needs.
As a Court Link Case Manager, you will be responsible for the assessment and case management of participants with complex needs on the program including the provision of interventions to address issues related to offending behaviour. You will also be responsible for making community referrals for those participants who are not recommended for case management. The role will also coordinate and negotiate the delivery of a range of services requiring the maintenance of strong linkages with the community services support sector and will provide information to the courts regarding the assessment, intervention and engagement of people with Court Link that may assist in bail and sentencing decisions.
In this role you will also provide information to court users and stakeholders about all programs and supports available through Courts Innovation Program, and work across programs to support individuals to access the assistance they need to address the underlying causes of their offending behaviour.
This role reports to the Team Leader, Court Link. This role has no direct reports.
This role is part of the Court Link team with staff located in various locations across the State.
