About the role
The Administration Officer is responsible for providing efficient and effective administrative support to the QNADA Team to support our day to day operations.
Role responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the CEO and Director, Operations including membership management, payroll, creditor payments, end of month reconciliations and office management.
- Coordinate and maintain QNADA’s social media accounts and website.
- Prepare QNADA publications and resources in Indesign format, in line with the QNADA style guide.
- Undertake administrative tasks associated with the QNADA quality management system (document control, improvement processes, team meetings).
- Provide support on logistics for QNADA events, including Winterschool.
- Actively contribute to a positive workplace culture.
About you
- Demonstrated administrative experience working in a fast-paced environment, including strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Superior organisational and time-management skills with an ability to manage and coordinate a range of office functions and projects
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, multi-task, prioritise and adapt quickly to change
- The ability to work flexibly within a team and communicate effectively with people at all levels to ensure smooth, efficient and on-time operation of the organisation
- Commitment to social justice principles, including an understanding of the issues and concerns faced by people who use drugs, cultural competence and an understanding of intersectionality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong and cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel and a good working knowledge of IT systems and processes.
