GOALS OF THE ELECTION CAMPAIGNS IN 2024

• Run to win in 10 BCC Council Wards, Ipswich Division 3 and Sunshine Coast Division 5, at the Council elections, to be held 16 March 2024

• Run to win in 10 State seats, including retaining Maiwar and South Brisbane at the State election to be held 26 Oct 2024.
• Grow the Greens vote Statewide on a transformative election platform which shakes up the status quo and redistributes wealth and power.

GOALS OF THE ROLE

• To design and produce visual communications for the Party in the 2024 elections (Council and State)
• This will include material to communicate the State election policy platform, hardcopy newsletters, flyers and social media assets.

THE TEAM & OFFICE

• You would work with a senior colleague, the Queensland Greens Visual Communications and Design Manager on design work for the Queensland Greens State Office, and key election campaigns in the Council and State elections.
• These teams are physically spread across Brisbane, but this role would be based in the Queensland Greens office in Park Rd Milton.

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Experience and qualifications in a similar role previously or the ability to learn the role quickly and deliver outcomes as required
• Strong and demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Suite, primarily Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Skills in producing short-form video (TikTok, Insta reels) would be advantageous but not essential.
• Outstanding organisational skills, including demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated experience in administration including calendar coordination, proficient use of online tools and excellence in communication
• Experience working in online teams across a variety of platforms to achieve common goals
