We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in Adaptive Governance, Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program to join School of Architecture and Built Environment, Faculty of Engineering, Academic Division.
The Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program (RRAP) brings together Australia’s leading experts to create an innovative suite of safe, acceptable interventions to help the Great Barrier Reef resist, adapt to, and recover from the impacts of climate change. This Research and Development (R&D) program is the world’s largest effort to help a significant ecosystem survive climate change.
RRAPs’ mission is to provide reef managers and decision-makers with scientifically proven, ecologically-effective, socially-acceptable, technically-feasible, and economically-viable options for intervening at scale on the Great Barrier Reef and other Australian reefs to help them recover from, and adapt to, the effects of climate change, and to help guide implementation if required.
