About the Role

The Instructional Designer: Articulate 360 Specialist plays a key role in transforming Raise’s virtual and face-to-face training into dynamic, interactive eLearning experiences. As part of the Learning and Development team, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to design and develop engaging eLearning courses using Articulate 360.

You will apply instructional design best practices, multimedia elements, and adult learning principles to create effective training content that enhances learning outcomes.

This role reports to the Head of Learning and Development and works closely with the People and Culture team.

About you

You are a passionate and skilled Instructional Designer with a strong background in eLearning development, instructional design principles, and adult learning theories. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and stakeholders to develop high-quality, engaging, and accessible training solutions.

What You Bring

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing eLearning courses using Articulate 360.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and eLearning best practices.
  • Experience developing interactive, engaging, and accessible training content.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with SMEs, trainers, and stakeholders to develop impactful training solutions.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Expert proficiency in Articulate 360.
  • Strong skills in multimedia development, including audio and video editing.
  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
  • Proficiency in LMS platforms and ability to troubleshoot eLearning compatibility issues.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate learning effectiveness and user engagement.
  • Ability to develop accessible and inclusive eLearning solutions.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems (desirable).

Additional Requirements:

  • Completion of Raise’s selection process, including Youth Safety Checks.
  • Current Working with Children (Employee) Check and National Crime Check.
  • Previous experience as a Raise Mentor (ideal but not essential).
