Your new role

You will lead the Reconnect Wellbeing Program to provide client-centred, integrated, high-quality casework support to older adults who are experiencing loss, isolation and disconnection as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Working closely with the manager, you will establish the program, troubleshoot problems and build community awareness of, and engagement with, the program.

You will provide day to day leadership and clinical supervision to your team, monitor program quality against objectives and ensure services are culturally appropriate for older people.

This is a newly funded service and will require team members to be agile and adaptable as we build our service.

The details

• Part-time (4 days) or full time on a 12-month contract
• Based in the City
• $45 to $49 per hour + super + salary packaging

About you

As a Senior Case Worker, Counsellor or Team Leader, you will have:

• Expertise to provide clinical supervision and leadership to your team;
• Experience working with people experiencing social isolation, grief and loss, ideally older Australians
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve the establishment of a program;
• Strong community engagement skills to build program awareness and engagement;
• A balance of compassion and practice expertise to ensure services are effective, clinically robust and culturally appropriate.
