Job Description:
We are seeking a Full time Clinical Radiology Examinations Manager to join our Specialty Training Unit, reporting to the Head of Examinations.
The Manager, CR Examinations is responsible for the following key duties, including but not limited to:
- Lead the development and delivery of high-quality examinations and assessments.
- Provide strategic advice to enhance examination formats and processes, ensuring quality improvement and compliance.
- Coordinate examination `activities, including documentation reviews, statistical analyses, and standard-setting methodologies.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Radiology Examination Advisory Committee (CREAC) and Curriculum Assessment Committee (EAC) on the development and evaluation of Fellowship Written and Oral examinations.
- Oversee business planning and reporting for IT systems and tools used in examination delivery.
- Develop and implement innovative, data-driven examination practices and policies.
- Present evidence-based reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement of examination and assessment systems.
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions to enhance delivery processes.
- Lead innovation initiatives to improve the candidate and examiner experience.
- Develop, monitor, and reconcile budgets for examination activities.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and compliance with financial policies.
- Lead, mentor and inspire the Examinations Team to achieve high performance and engagement.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record in project management or team coordination within high-stakes educational environments.
- Experience in examination, assessment, and curriculum delivery at secondary, tertiary, or postgraduate levels.
- Expertise in managing diverse assessment and examination teams to meet tight deadlines and deliver results.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Advanced skills in data analysis and interpretation, particularly in educational assessment.
- Proficiency with IT systems and platforms (e.g., LMS, CRM, statistical tools).
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Capacity to initiate and maintain effective procedures and documentation.
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
