An exciting opportunity has arisen within the SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY Team for an enthusiastic and experienced person (with tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or equivalent qualifications) to join us to help promote and deliver our mental health messages and programs within the community and strengthen our impact across Tasmania. This is a permanent role full time role.   

The Stay ChatTY Project Officers will be based in Hobart and Launceston. This role will be responsible for delivering our Sports Program state-wide through session facilitation, key stakeholder engagement, administration, program evaluation, content development and innovation. The Project Officer will also apply a clinical lens, and deliver Stay ChatTY’s existing mental health literacy programs, including Sports, Schools and Workplace Programs. In addition, this role will require broader Stay ChatTY representation across key events and community engagement (including Shorts Day and Gala Ball).

  • Do you have a passion for mental health and suicide prevention? 
  • Do you want to create a positive impact in our community? 
  • Do you have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or equivalent tertiary qualifications that are recognised to deliver evidence-informed mental health programs? 
  • Do you have strong and engaging facilitation skills with the ability to adapt to the needs of differently aged audiences?
  • Do you have well-developed project management, communication and organisational skills?

  • Salary range $87,017.69 - $94,867.70 + Super / *Pro-rata
