Exciting opportunity for motivated and experienced group facilitators to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) in this important role with staff who have been delivering effective client focused services and outcomes for over 70 years in Victoria.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Southern and Eastern Melbourne, the role is responsible for the delivery and support of Tuning in to Kids and Dad’s Tuning in to Kids educational parenting programs that focuses on the emotional connection between parents and children. This role focuses on enabling participants to connect with others in a similar situation and their own children and provides participants with support as well as an opportunity to develop skills to overcoming relationship difficulties.

The role is based in Melbourne’s South East at our Cranbourne centre and is perfect for individuals looking for a casual position.

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work or a related allied health discipline and eligibility for membership of appropriate professional body.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise working with children, adolescents and families, including group work interventions.
  • Sound risk/assessment skills and ability to make appropriate referrals for children, young people and their families.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current Australian Driver’s license.
