About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Operations Southeast and West Metro your responsibilities include ensuring the effective and efficient operational management of RAV teams and centres in delivering high quality services and programs in alignment with RAV’s contractual obligations and strategic direction. The position is also required to generate and incorporate new programs and income streams into centres and provide management support across centres as needed.

This role is located at Sunshine and is full-time working 5 days per week. The base salary is$156k – $161k per annum.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications which may include Management and/or Psychology, Social Work, Social Science, Mediation.
  • Highly developed general management and leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience at managing and developing operational systems with the not-for-profit or community sector organisation including effectively planning and allocating resources in order to maximise operational efficiency and meet funding deliverables.
  • Highly developed and demonstrated communication (verbal and in writing) skills, with a particular emphasis on developing effective working relationships with a variety of interest groups, individuals and organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing all aspects of staff and team performance, including recruitment, staff orientation, supervision, performance reviews, staff disciplinary action, performance development and team building.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in management (preferable).
  • Good understanding family violence services and systems (preferable).
  • Understanding of counselling and/or family dispute resolution/mediation processes(preferable).
