Our recruitment process

Our recruitment process encompasses a range of activities designed to obtain a holistic understanding of who you are. You will be invited to share your story, meet with Policy Futures team and participate in an assessment centre.

Are you eligible?

The Policy Futures Graduate Program First Nations Pathway is open to graduates from all degrees and disciplines who meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
  • completion of a bachelor's degree or higher (including graduate certificate, master's degree or PhD) in the last two years. This means that to be eligible for the 2024 cohort you must have received your qualification between 1 January 2022 and 1 February 2024 (no minimum GPA required)
  • be an Australian citizen, or a resident of Australia and have permission, under Commonwealth law, to work in Australia.
