We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate support workers to join our team to provide support to a person with Mental health issues and some associated challenges. The job location is in Portarlington.

Your role would include community engagement and social support. Supervise medication taking and assist client with medical appointments, meal preparation, shopping and providing general emotional support. Role includes Sleepover shifts.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Currently hold or willing to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
• Empathy, compassion, and a positive attitude towards supporting others
• NDIS Screening Check - not essential but highly desirable
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect individuals' privacy
• A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is desired

Please note that if you have no experience we are willing to provide training. Very rewarding job.
