Redland City Council is an innovative and progressive local government east of Brisbane, including the land and waters of Quandamooka country, the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, mainland suburbs and rural hinterland.
This exciting opportunity will see you undertaking project and contract management of the Koala Conservation Program, ensuring projects and activities are cost effective and deliver identified outcomes for koala conservation and management. This will involve preparing project documentation, contract administration, budget management, preparing briefing materials, evaluating technical reports and providing annual reporting.
Do you have project management and contract management experience? Are you a confident communicator who can facilitate and negotiate positive outcomes and support a diverse range of stakeholders? Do you have advanced research, analytical and problem solving skills to enable the identification, development and evaluation of scientific information, legislation, strategies and plans, relating to current and emerging koala or wildlife management issues and practices?
