About the role

We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to provide Relationship Matters with creative marketing campaigns to increase awareness and build engagement across our communities. This opportunity is ideal for a driven, imaginative individual with a passion for creativity and a strong background in digital marketing.

Responsibilities will include:

Marketing and Communications

  • Plan and deliver engaging social media content to enhance brand awareness, drive audience engagement, promote activities and programs and grow RM’s online presence.
  • Create and maintain content for various platforms including RM’s website, social media, email campaigns, newsletters, collaborating with Leadership Team.
  • Identify opportunities to raise RM profile to make it a well-known and trusted brand and an employer of choice.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain and update the organisation’s collateral and promotional material.
  • Support the development of publications including the Annual Report.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on Relationship Matters communications across website, email and social media to ensure they are accessible and reaching the people who need to see them.

Media Engagement

  • Work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to identify new media opportunities to promote RM as a leader in our field of work
  • Assist the Strategic Communications and Business Development Manager in the drafting of key messages and briefings for spokesperson.
  • Develop media material such as press releases as required

Database Management

  • Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of the internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system ensuring data is appropriately segmented to maximise stakeholder and consumer reach.

Event Management

  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate a range of internal and external events, including conferences, events and webinars.
  • Plan, promote and manage the RM event calendar, including days of awareness that are relevant to the work of RM.
  • Write and send post-event follow-ups or surveys and maintain detailed event records.

Organisational

  • Coordinate marketing requests and provide advice where related to brand and/or publications.
  • Assist with promoting brand adherence across the organisation.
  • Maintain the corporate image library and marketing and communications intranet.
  • Develop strong and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and respond to customer feedback and inquires on social media and other platforms.
  • Liaise with external consultants and contractors to support project implementation.

About you

Key Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (media, marketing, communications, journalism).
  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing/communications.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering on organisational social media and digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience in successfully coordinating events.
  • Proven ability to write, create and deliver high-quality, engaging content across platforms.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally, spanning communications, engagement, brand and content management.
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting on website and social media metrics across various digital platforms.
  • Skills in relevant digital marketing, data and content creation systems, specifically Wordpress, Adobe's Creative Suite, Canva, Google Analytics, Google Ad Grant, Social Media Platforms and Vimeo.
  • Ability to proactively identify and secure strategic media opportunities.
  • Highly organised, with flexibility to prioritise competing demands and work to deadlines under pressure.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to working across organisations, with an ability to build consensus and work with leadership to define priorities.
  • Understanding of CRM, experience in Microsoft Dynamics and Customer Insights is desirable.
