Reporting directly to the CEO, RA-NT are seeking an experienced and results-driven HRBP to align our HR initiatives and functions with the business objectives and needs. Duties will include aligning staff to business objectives, recruiting the right talent, enhancing staff performance, planning HR initiatives, managing orientation and onboarding processes, communicating role expectations, maintaining staff relations, updating policies and procedures and overseeing wellness initiatives.
Your experience in HR management will aid RA-NT in adding value to overall business objectives, providing HR solutions, resolving personnel grievances, retaining a talented workforce, and ensuring compliance with regulations and legislation.
In the performance of this role, you are required to comply with the Safeguarding Children and Young People Practice and Behaviour Guidelines and to participate in cultural fitness activities.
Selection Criteria
Essential
- Educated to degree level with a professional qualification in HR Management, recognised membership of the Australian Human Resource Institute, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- A proven track record of leading the delivery of HR functions to a high standard, in a senior role.
- Ability to support and influence all stakeholders, including Directors across the organisation.
- Manage difficult situations and work with those involved to devise solutions.
- Ability to be decisive and act promptly and efficiently under pressure.
- Able to demonstrate being self-directed, resourceful and creative, with a strong ability to work on own initiative with drive and enthusiasm.
- Provide leadership and excellent interpersonal skills, discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to be adaptable, flexible and willing to work on a variety of projects and perform in multiple roles.
- Have an in depth understanding of and be able to demonstrate a commitment to Equal Opportunities and Diversity.
- Experience in end to end recruitment, talent management, succession planning and training for all levels of staff.
- Exceptional written and strong oral communication skills.
- Ability to travel within the Northern Territory as and when required.
Requirements
Prior to commencing in this role, you must possess the following:
- A satisfactory Northern Territory working with children check.
- A satisfactory national criminal history check.
- A commitment to our Safeguarding Children Practice and Behaviour Guidelines.
