Contribute to a vibrant East Reservoir based neighbourhood house which fosters the prosperity and wellbeing of local residents with a focus on employment, health, and social connection.

Reservoir Neighbourhood House Inc. is currently seeking a qualified chef or cook to prepare meals for local community members. Duties include recipe selection, grocery shopping, and meal preparation – supported by staff and volunteers.

Reservoir Neighbourhood House Inc. is an incorporated community development enterprise registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.

Selection Criteria

• Demonstrated ability to lead and operate within a small team.
• Qualifications focused on catering, cooking or food processing. Desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to relate – and respond directly – to people in need.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sector expertise, specifically catering, community services, and hospitality.
• Want to learn more!
• Gordon Ramsay need not apply. We are looking for a cook who can prepare delicious and nutritious home cooked meals – not a five (5) star ten (10) course menu!
