Contribute to a vibrant East Reservoir based neighbourhood house which fosters the prosperity and wellbeing of local residents with a focus on employment, health, and social connection.

Reservoir Neighbourhood House Inc. is currently seeking volunteers across all operational areas, programs and services. Duties could include customer service and reception, event and program coordination, food relief and material support, garden maintenance and kitchen operations.

Reservoir Neighbourhood House Inc. is an incorporated community development enterprise registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.

Selection criteria

Reservoir Neighbourhood House Inc. encourages applications from all community members, including those new to volunteering. Experience is preferred, but not essential.

• Qualifications focused on business management, community development, social work. Desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to operate within a small team.
• Demonstrated ability to relate – and respond directly – to people in need.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sector expertise, specifically community services, education and training, and neighbourhood houses.
