Position Summary

Revolve Recycling Foundation is a startup social enterprise that aims to further the concept of bike equity, particularly through the distribution of free bicycles to kids in Australia

Bike equity is furthering equal opportunities, skills and fun through bicycles, especially for kids under the motto “every kid deserves the joy of a bike”.

As Networker - Organiser, you will play a vital role in building a network of new and existing partners and rolling out bike equity projects funded by our partners.

In that capacity you will work closely together with the general manager of the founding partner Revolve ReCYCLING to deliver the kid’s bikes projects and to manage the further growth of the foundation.

This will suit a well-organised freelancer, with excellent networking skills, organisational and administration expertise, and a great appetite for biking.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for the implementation of projects funded with grant money
• Manage stock and quality of kids bikes for the foundation
• Build network and events for corporates and high donor sponsors
• Roll out corporate team building service
• Liaise with fundraiser, grant writer and marketing team
• Represent the foundation at events and specific audiences
• Assist with social media communication and promotion

Required skills include

Essential Skills:

• Administrative, IT and organisational skills
• Experience in planning and coordination of projects or events
• Natural talent for networking and engaging groups & individuals
• Ability to negotiate with a diverse group of partners and customers
• Confident working unsupervised and managing multiple tasks

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledgeable about bikes
• Experience with managing staff and project teams

• 7 hrs per week in startup phase – when successful hrs can increase
• Renumeration between $40 and $45/hr depending on experience
