headspace Cairns is a welcoming safe space for young people aged between 12 and 25 providing access, support and information for a broad range of concerns, including mental health, physical/sexual health, drug and alcohol, employment and education and support for families and carers. headspace Cairns (under the direction of RFDS (Queensland) Services Limited) has been making a difference in the lives of young Australians since 2006.
The headspace team is now welcoming applications for the role of Clinical Educator. This is a part-time opportunity on a maximum term contract of 6 months, with the potential for extension. This position entails 2 days of work per week, which can be scheduled on any day
As the Clinical Educator, you will help manage student and graduate placements at the centre as part of the headspace Early Career Program (ECP). In this role, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and integrating the centre's student and graduate placement program, and providing field supervision for students and graduates who join us from headspace National.
In addition to formal qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Nursing (Mental Health), you must have demonstrated experience in the development, coordination and delivery of clinical training. You will be focused on helping us do things ‘the headspace way’, living our values of Inclusion, Collaboration, Agility and Excellence.

Successful candidates will be subject to a Police Check and may be required to undergo a medical assessment.
