We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Learning and Development Officer to join the South Brisbane team based at Annerley, on a Fixed-Term, Full-time basis, covering parental leave from 26 January 2025 to 6 February 2026, with the opportunity to extend. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your L&D skills, contributing to RFQ's value of Lifelong Learning and further enhancing the growth and development of RFQ's employees.

Your week may look like:

  • Partner with RFQ managers and stakeholders to understand the training needs and identify training gaps.
  • In collaboration with Subject Matter Experts, develop and deliver eLearning courses that embody L&D best practise, maintain compliance and align with RFQ goals.
  • Maintain the L&D platform with accurate records of all training activities, outcomes, participant progress and complete reporting as required.
  • Assist in evaluating learning programs through feedback, surveys and performance assessments, and make data-driven improvements to enhance their effectiveness.

You will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Education or relevant certifications.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment highly desired.
  • Proven experience in learning and development instructional design, and application of adult learning principles across different learning modalities.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting mental health and community well-being.
