Beilby Downing Teal are working with a State Government agency that designs and delivers a vast range of projects across the state that help vulnerable people in our community. Our goal is to source a proven Senior Project Manager to take on the key tasks of driving these projects from engagement and commissioning stages, through to developing financial guidelines, delivery, and then finally analysis of the project’s success.

This is a diverse role that will utilise all your skills in stakeholder engagement and program design and delivery. It will suit a person with experience in education, health or community services although not just from government. You will be a person that is looking for purpose and meaning in your job and is motivated to help vulnerable people within our community.

Some of the key duties and responsibilities include:

• Talking to people in the community to ensure that your agency’s understanding of the needs of the program will meet the needs of the community
• Using your leadership skills to oversee the design, integration and delivery of the project.
• Engaging and partnering with others, both your colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the services will meet the needs of the intended beneficiaries.
• Leading the analysis of service demand and champion the co-design of new programs. Maintain positive and productive relationships with stakeholders, including other government agencies, advocacy groups, industry peak bodies, and non-government service providers.
• Exploring ways of leveraging existing services in the community during the design phase to ensure projects are ensuring value for money.
• Generate and manage reporting systems for tracking financials and analysing the effectiveness of funding allocation.
• Lead and oversee robust and significant procurement of services and awarding of grant monies.
