We are seeking enthusiastic volunteer/s to take on a Live-In Role: Volunteer House Caretaker.
Ronald McDonald House Charities is one of the leading Global and Australian children’s charities supporting the ever-changing needs of seriously ill children and their families. In-line with its mission, Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania (RMHC VIC & TAS) has dedicated more than 35 years to keeping families closer to their child with a serious illness who require treatment and support across Victoria and Tasmania.
Live In Role - Volunteer House Caretaker for both Parkville and Monash sites
As the Volunteer House Caretaker, you will be at the operational frontline, supporting and engaging Families to ensure that they have a positive experience during their stay. You will be responsible for high levels of customer service with the RMHC internal and external stakeholders and will need to represent the RMHC brand positively at all times.
Aside from fun, energetic, passionate humans - we are looking for people who are inspired by our mission and who actively want to contribute to the values held by Ronald McDonald House Charities. Applicants must be 18 years + and preferential screening will be given to couples/partners applying for the role.
Volunteers must complete an online application form and be available for a telephone interview. If successful at the telephone interview stage, further in-person interviews are to follow.
Volunteers are supplied with a volunteer polo and an ID badge on a lanyard which must be worn when volunteering. We may also provide hats and sunscreen depending on the season.
