Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is an independent charity, providing support to ill or injured children, high-risk pregnancy expectant mothers and their families. RMHC South East Queensland is one of the many Ronald McDonald House “Chapters” across the federated structure within Australia and Globally, providing accommodation and other support programs for families. Our services operate 24/7 across all 365 days of the year providing compassionate hospitality to our families through our House Program, Hospital Programs and Learning Program.

This newly created permanent full-time role, reporting to the Corporate Partnerships Manager, will be responsible for providing support to existing corporate partnerships, coordinating the corporate partnerships journey for our mission programs, and working with our national corporate partnerships teams to coordinate benefits across our Chapter. The successful candidate will play an integral role in helping deliver corporate sponsorship benefits, events, campaigns and recognition activities to maximise impact and create long-term sustainable partners. The role will focus on developing tailored engagement opportunities for corporate sponsors, managing ongoing partnership activities, and delivering excellent communication and stewardship.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to corporate partners, ensuring all partnership benefits and obligations are fulfilled.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver and communicate partnership assets, including reports, impact stories, and presentations.
  • Coordinate and oversee event requirements for corporate partners, including planning, logistical support, and on-site fundraising activities.
  • Support national corporate partnership activities, working with RMHC Australia to ensure chapter-level deliverables.
  • Facilitate corporate volunteering opportunities, handling inquiries, bookings, invoicing, and on-site support as required.
  • Assist with fundraising events and campaigns, focusing on corporate sponsorships/support, registration processing, and fundraising stewardship.
  • Implement and manage the Workplace Giving Program, including researching best practices and developing communication materials.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, financial reconciliation, and a calendar of partnership events to enhance partner and data integrity.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience working in account management, partnerships, fundraising, marketing or events.
  • Professional background and/or working knowledge of the not-for-profit sector.
  • Well organised, self-motivated and professional, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines.
  • Possess keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in teams, with a strong commitment to achieving the most positive outcomes for the wider Fundraising, Marketing and Communications team.
  • High level of computer literacy, with experience using Salesforce and/or other CRM platforms will be considered highly desirable.
  • Open driver's license is essential.
  • First Aid/CPR certificate is highly desirable.
  • Possess, or have the ability to acquire, a Working with Children Blue Card and National Crime Check, with each being a mandatory requirement of the role.
