Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland is a 'home away from home' for seriously ill children and their families.
When families have to travel far from home to receive specialised medical care for their sick child, seeking accommodation in an unfamiliar place only adds to their stress and anxiety. Though there is no place like home, Ronald McDonald House RMHC SEQ strives to provide a safe and comfortable environment where the whole family can stay together for the duration of their child's treatment.
As part of the People & Culture team and working closely with our Volunteer Coordinator, this role will enable you to utilise your exceptional people skills to build and maintain relationships and support our team of 180 volunteers. Our volunteer work across our four locations in South East Queensland in a range of roles from administration, guest ambassadors, cooking, baking, driving, family room support, kids club and more. Your day will be full of variety, some challenges and lots of fun along the way!
