RMHC SCA provides vital accommodation and support services to families with sick or injured children receiving treatment in Adelaide. We are now expanding our commitment to regional communities, with a focus on Alice Springs.

About the Role:

RMHC SCA is seeking a passionate and community-minded individual to join our Board as a volunteer representative for Alice Springs. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of families in your region and play a pivotal role in our expansion efforts.

As a Board Member, you will:

• Provide valuable local insights and representation for the Alice Springs community.
• Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making for RMHC SCA's growth in the region.
• Advocate for the needs of families accessing medical care in Alice Springs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders.
• Participate in regular board meetings.

Selection Criteria:

• A strong connection to the Alice Springs community and a deep understanding of the region.
• A genuine commitment to the mission and values of RMHC SCA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to contribute strategically and collaboratively.
• While not a prerequisite, experience within the health sector would be a valuable asset.

Commitment:

This is a volunteer position requiring participation in bi-monthly board meetings and other related activities.
