RMHC SCA provides vital accommodation and support services to families with sick or injured children receiving treatment in Adelaide. We are now expanding our commitment to regional communities, with a focus on Alice Springs.
About the Role:
RMHC SCA is seeking a passionate and community-minded individual to join our Board as a volunteer representative for Alice Springs. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of families in your region and play a pivotal role in our expansion efforts.
As a Board Member, you will:
- Provide valuable local insights and representation for the Alice Springs community.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making for RMHC SCA's growth in the region.
- Advocate for the needs of families accessing medical care in Alice Springs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders.
- Participate in regular board meetings.
Selection Criteria:
- A strong connection to the Alice Springs community and a deep understanding of the region.
- A genuine commitment to the mission and values of RMHC SCA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to contribute strategically and collaboratively.
- While not a prerequisite, experience within the health sector would be a valuable asset.

This is a volunteer position requiring participation in bi-monthly board meetings and other related activities.
