Combining a talented allied health team and the largest range of rehabilitation technology in the Southern Hemisphere, Royal Rehab’s LifeWorks business is positioned to take its next step.

As Operations Manager Royal Rehab LifeWorks, you will

  • Lead and grow the Royal Rehab LifeWorks Ryde business,
  • Support the team to diversify service and revenue streams,
  • Introduce and lead business development practices, growing relationships and referral pathways,
  • Implement agile and customer service practices,
  • Achieve high levels of performance allowing the Royal Rehab Group to reinvest in research, technology and unfunded services needed to realise our vision for a world without limits for people with disability, injury and illness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, administrative staff, and contractors.
  • Driving service development and growth, identifying opportunities for new partnerships and business expansion.
  • Overseeing the operational management of key services.
  • Ensuring the financial and strategic success for the service.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and business growth.

About you..

You will have significant experience leading and growing commercial, allied health, healthcare or similar services.

With strong commercial, business development and people management skills, you excel at collaborating and building meaningful relationships with your team, clients, and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Along with strong, relevant ties with the sector, you have a deep understanding of funding mechanisms, including health funds, NDIS, insurance and workers compensation.

You bring experience implementing efficient operations, delivering continuous improvements and inspiring others to drive positive change.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications
  • Postgraduate qualifications in management or equivalent leadership experience
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Relevant practice/business management and business development experience
  • Strong leadership, collaboration and networking skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams
  • A passion for innovation and continuous improvement in allied health or related services
  • Familiarity with funding body frameworks, relevant service standards, and legislative requirements
  • Experience that aligns with the key role responsibilities.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Current registration with a relevant professional association.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of clients and conditions.
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
