As the face of our RSPCA NSW Veterinary Clinic, you will be responsible for providing superior customer service skills to the members of the public, clients and the entire Veterinary team whilst ensuring smooth running of the Clinic Reception area and Clinic appointment scheduling.

Our Yagoona Veterinary clinic, is on the lookout for a Full Time Veterinary Receptionist member to join our collaborative and supportive team!

About the Role

  • Answering phone calls and making appointments for veterinary services
  • Greeting all visitors and customers to the hospital
  • Daily banking, point of sales and retail stock management
  • Recommending retail and preventative products to pet parents
  • Carrying out general administration and invoicing duties

About You

  • Previous experience in a Reception and Customer Service setting
  • Ability to build outstanding rapport with a variety of clients
  • A love of animals and passion for helping people and their pets
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail, punctuality and reliability
  • The ability to empathise and remain compassionate in a busy and varied role
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
