Remote / Work from Home
Run For It is an independent, non-partisan political organisation working to rebuild our democracy and create a better kind of politics for future generations. Young people and our interests are under-represented in politics and Run For It works to better engage young people in the democratic process.
Our work is primarily focused on supporting young people to get elected to local councils, and in 2023, Run For It established the national coalition of organisations behind the Make It 16 Campaign in Australia.
In 2024, Run For it ran campaigns to elect more young people to council in New South Wales and Victoria. In 2025 we are focused on the federal election and training more young people across the country!
With so many challenges currently facing young people in Australia there is a critical need for young leaders to step up and organise for better outcomes. Run For It is a growing organisation that supports a wider movement of young people fighting to make their voices heard.
Joining Run For It at this time means that you will help young people get elected and change politics.
The media coordinator will manage Run For It’s engagement with traditional media.
