Are you a strategic, creative, and passionate storyteller, with 5 years experience in communications and you’re ready to make an impact? We're looking for a talented Communications Manager that wants to work in a friendly, fast-paced environment as a member of a high-performing team and amplify our message and increase engagement across all of population.

This role requires a dynamic communicator with iniative, who is an excellent writer and creator with well developed creative skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and the confidence to manage all aspects of content and communications. This includes ideation, interviews, supplier management, production, proofreading, sub-editing, and handling feedback and approvals.

This is a full-time role with a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work two days from our head office in Barangaroo and the remaining three days from home.

The Role:

  • Drives the storytelling function of R U OK?.
  • Is responsible for producing strategic and responsive communications that deliver clear and consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Creates and disseminates content and information that aligns with the R U OK? strategic plan.
  • Protects and promotes the values and mission of R U OK?.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone with at least 5 years experience in a communications role.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing communications and creative campaigns.
  • Highly developed communications, content development and production skills.
  • Proven experience drafting clear, compelling, engaging material and delivering content with impact, including articles, blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, presentations, video case studies, and annual reports.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Ability to connect with and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, responsive and flexible in an environment with time pressures and multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite and CRM use (Salesforce desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience using digital platforms, for example, Campaign Monitor, JotForm, Monday.com, and Canva.
