Are you a team player that has at least three years experience providing operations and co-ordination support to a program, project, or campaigns team? If you’re excited about working as part of a small friendly team in a fast-paced environment and passionate about delivering work with impact, this could be the role for you.
The position requires a candidate with experience in administration, data collation, and reporting. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential.
This new role is Sydney based and currently supports a team of three to deliver programs and projects that encourage life-changing conversations and build engagement with workplaces, young people, students and educators.
R U OK? is a charity dedicated to creating a world where we are all connected and protected from suicide. We are a national suicide prevention charity and registered public health promotion that encourages people to stay connected and have conversations that can help others through difficult times. Since 2009, Australians have embraced the simplicity of the R U OK? message, making it their own.
Our work focuses on building the motivation, confidence, and skills of the help-giver – the person who can have a meaningful conversation with someone who is struggling with life.
R U OK? contributes to suicide prevention efforts by encouraging people to invest more time in their personal relationships and building the capacity of informal support networks – friends, family, and colleagues - to be alert to those around them, have a conversation if they identify signs of distress or difficulty, and connect someone to appropriate support, long before they're in crisis.
Join our friendly team of passionate individuals, where collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our office is in Barangaroo, and we embrace a hybrid working arrangement that offers a balance of face-to-face connection in a vibrant atmosphere and working from home.
R U OK? is committed to fostering a culturally safe and accessible workplace where trust, respect, and the promotion of diversity and inclusion are valued. We welcome applications from candidates from all backgrounds and those with lived experience.
